History: link
Personality: Jyn lost her father and the man who raised her, leaving her untrusting and jaded because of both of these experiences. Her father was abruptly taken away from her, and Saw Gerrera abandoned her during a mission, because people were suspecting her of who she was, the daughter of an Imperial scientist. Because of this she's independent, and since the man who raised her was a rebel leader and extremist, she has a very serious reckless streak in her. She takes risks, mostly out of necessity, but she is unafraid, knowing her last mission is a suicide mission, often seen running into battle (Attack on Eadu and the Battle of Jedha), and trying to immediately escape when she was first being rescued by the rebellion. She was raised and essentially used because of this, because of her skill level. She became a criminal after her second father of sorts abandoned her which only strengthened that streak and untrusting nature.
Through this she had become a survivalist, doing what she had without a care to the legality. At the start of the film, she was caught and being transferred under an alias. It only adds to her defiance and insubordination. Even after being told that the Alliance leaders didn't want to attack the base at Scarif, that it was too risky, Jyn led a group of fighters on a clear suicide mission. She went against orders though part of this being that she was not trained, but brought in because of her relation to Galen Erso who designed the Death Star.
She is hopeful despite it all, stemming from that reckless abandonment. But in the bleak reality of an oppressive government killing whole planets, Jyn gives a rousing speech and a call to arms. She's rebellious from it, willing to go to any lengths to get the job done. For that she was resilient and stubborn. When she is the only one to witness a message from her father on where his plans were, and that there was a secret trigger to destroy the Death Star, Jyn gets her squad to fly from Jedha where their mission was to Eadu to rescue her father. She tells her squad they will keep doing this, going on and doing what they must until they win. She tells Mon Mathma that rebellions are built on hope, something Cassian once told her.
Of course her hope was born out of learning to trust at least marginally, made to be pushed out of her selfishness and very narrow world view that came about over her distrust and sly maneuvers, being abandoned not once but twice. It was Cassian who pushed her, made her realize that she was not the only one that lost everything. Once he could connect with her, her walls and guarded nature slowly begin to crumble. Her quick wit and argumentative attitude, featured several times with small spats with K2SO and Cassian, are not always easily diminished, harboring a self righteous narrative due to what's happened to her. She fights with Cassian when he calls her out on how she treats the resistance and her lack of beliefs or rather that she's only just been inspired, but he's the one that shows her hope, keeps her grounded, and pushes her for better.
From her upbringing she's been made to be tough. She doesn't exactly have military training, but somewhere along the lines through living with an extremist, she's developed a cunning nature and combat skills to match. This is clear in her skills with weaponry and the knowledge to use aliases, one she uses when she's introduced already in custody. It makes her obstinate in the face of danger, though she'd become self-reliant since Saw Gerrera abandoned her at fifteen. It's left her hard and judging, but a good judge of character from it. She questions why Chirrut was able to know she had a necklace when he was blind. She was able to realize there was something different about him even when Cassian was pushing her to continue on.
She did have some growth, being passionate about family and the purpose of helping her dad and her dad's plan. She became a leader when it was important, literally rallying the troops. After her death on Scarif, one of the leaders of the Resistance Army believed she would be an extraordinary person if she survived. The recklessness led to being determined and driven, though she formerly was very apathetic to the plights of others. She even was asked once if it bothered her that Imperial flags were flying, and she replied it didn't if she never looked up. She goes from that to telling the Rebel Alliance that rebellions were built on hope. She became solidified in history for her actions.
Appearance:

How Do You Think They'll React to Being In Parthas? Jyn won't be happy, but there are much worse places to be. She's adaptable, and Cassian is in game already and will certainly help her adjust to this place.

Anything Else?
Abilities- Nothing out of the ordinary for most people. She was raised by a rebel leader, so she has tactical training, and knows how to use most weaponry, but it's more of a skill.
